Thank You Again, Nuffnang And Benetton!

I so love Nuffnang PH. I won 2 movies with them and now I won a bag from the Benetton contest!

I was ecstatic when I received this email! And well im really lucky since my workplace is not that far from the Nuffnang office.

\
Already using my bag for office :)

What's great about this bag? You can use the black side of the bag or the cream colored side (I learned this just recently) LOL.

Anyway, again thanks to Nuffnang and Benetton for this cool bag. I'm so eager to join more contests! :)

Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Thanks Nuffnang and Wacoal!!

I was just checking my email when I saw this mail from Nuffnang! I was ecstatic that I won a free movie again from them and what made me more happier is that we get to watch it at Newport Cinemas! Haha a bit shallow if you think about it but what can I say, it's far closer to home than Shangri La.

Thanks Nuffnang for the free movie!! And popcorn.. And drinks! It was really fun :)

They also had a photobooth outside ;) Nuffnang is a really cool community to be in! :)

The Chocolate Bar - Yummy Desserts!

Mom decided to go to the Noel Bazaar after going to my Lola's house which gave me an opportunity to visit a friend's booth there. Upon entering the bazaar I was looking at the stalls one by one. Luckily, The Chocolate Bar is at the left side of the WTC so I saw it early on.

Photo from their FB page.

I was lucky that when I dropped by Alex was there. (Hi Alex! :) ) I was greeted with the yummy desserts in front of me and Alex being a friend and schoolmate offered me some free macarons! The Nutella flavored one is to die for. I also bought 6pcs of their ever famous red velvet cupcakes, I was regretful that I only bought 6, should have bought a dozen! Will be coming back this week to buy more. My friends loved the cupcakes. Seriously I think you can compete with Sonja's :)

That's Alex (left) owner of The Chocolate Bar. (photo from my phone)

If you guys are interested to visit them, they will still be at the Noel Bazaar til the 2nd of December! Hurry!
Oh they also take personalized orders, which you can pick up or have it delivered but with extra charge. If you'd like to visit them, you can contact them through their details below. Enjoy your desserts!

UPDATE: 27 Nov 12

I went back to the Noel Bazaar with the GF, and of course I passed by The Chocolate Bar again :) Didn't see Alex there, I asked if Alex is coming but was informed that she will be back by tomorrow (she's currently baking some delicious goodness). Well that didn't stop me from buying Red Velvet cupcakes again :)

Mochiko | Ice Cream ♥

Just awhile a go we ate at the Black Canyon (post to follow) and we passed by Mochi Creme and Mochiko, both Japanese Ice cream desserts. I already had Mochi Creme and it was yummy so I knew I had to try one Mochiko this time.

They just recently opened their kiosk in SM Southmall (I always see them in ATC) and I decided that I got to let my girlfriend taste a Mochi.

New Kiosk! Looks sheek! (Sorry for the shot , all photos are straight from my phone)

What I loved about it is that they have more flavors than Mochi creme and in my opinion  theirs tastes a lot better and yummier than Mochi creme.

Cookie dough flavor, the size is a bit small, but the flavors really explode in your mouth.

If you'd like to visit them, they have a lot of stores nationwide. You can search for a store near you in their website posted below :)

I Can Be Body Beautiful at Any Age with Wacoal

Being body beautiful? Nowadays seems hard with all the unhealthy food and lifestyles that are being served and practiced in society. Me falling victim to this (actually gaining double my previous weight.) I just am not that confident anymore with the way I look.

I just saw this post from Nuffnang Philippines regarding a new line from Wacoal. I'm sure everyone is familiar with them, to those who are not familiar with them, Wacoal is Japan's leading manufacturer of intimate apparel for women and is also one of the world's major brands. Anyhow, when I saw the post, I browsed the Wacoal website (you also can view it here>> Wacoal) and saw below.

I think this type of underwear will fit me since I'm not really a fan of wired bras and well it'll be more comfortable for me. Being comfortable means a lot to me in order to function more freely and faster of course. With that I think it can bring a little confidence in me back.

Why I love Sulit! (www.sulit.com.ph)

Sulit is one of my favorite ads website! Here are 3 of my reasons why:

  1. It's free! You are free to post the things you are selling and you can post a couple of ads in your account. It has decent traffic so you can be sure that your ad will be seen.
  2. You can meet people in Sulit that has the same interests as yours. You can bond with people in the forums part of sulit and chat and consult with them the products or people that you are going to transact with.
  3. They always have fun contests wherein you can win prizes! I love the fact that they give back to the people who are supporting them. I recently have won a consolation prize of an on-going promo, "Ano hanap ni Lourd".

Let’s Move & Let’s Love

I think everyone is so busy with their work or their lives that sometimes they tend to forget the little things that matters. Some may even take fore-granted the things that people that love them and care for them.

I know 'cause I'm some kind of guilty of this. I was and is currently preoccupied with work and all the payments for my bills that I kind of neglect my family specially my parents. My mind sometimes wander off and think about how I am ignoring my parents yet they are still there for me whenever I'm in need which makes me feel so guilty and sad at the same time.

Right now, I would like to send them to a night out for just the two of them. Treat them to dinner then send them off to a nice hotel for them to spend the night together. Just for the them to relax and have some quiet time for themselves. I really want them to relax and have some fun cause at home they seldom relax or have fun just because they are taking care of us. I'd want to commit on doing that before the year ends or after my dad has finished his contract for work. I think it's the least I can do for them as their eldest daughter.

I'm really thankful for having them as my parents.

I missed the RX monsterball! :(

So there I was standing outside 7th High when I asked the bouncer what time will the guest list can come in, he said around 1130pm.

We decided to go to Jamba Juice first and wait it off. Apparently that wasn't a good idea. When I got back, I heard the bouncer said that the guest lists are done. Bummer. Tried to get in, but to no avail. Damn.

To feel a bit better, we just went to Mercato and eat it off. There's the "dynamite" and Wagyu paella.

RX Monsterball tomorrow!

I have been an on and off listener of RX (since I didn't have a radio in the car for months). And I'm really fond of listening to The Morning Rush with Chico and Delamar (which later on had Gino to add), well practically the whole of RX from TMR to TMA (The Morning After with Alven).

For the past weeks, the listeners were hearing about RX's anniversary party and I think I can speak for them when I say that I really wanted to go and see my favorite DJs. I was really hoping for a shot to try to win those VIP tickets. But the chance seem to pass by.

This morning, when I was going to work, Alven of TMA announced that one of the people from the guest list backed out and another slot was open. I was like, this was my chance. Alven announced that we have to text him through 2299, the text goes "Alven your hair is so curly may name is _____ give me the tickets!". And so even I was driving, I sent a text frantically, typing my name wrong in the process. Sent another message to them with the correct name, parked my card and waited for the announcement. After 2 songs, Alven read the message and guess what? YES! I heard my mispelled name! HAHAHA But glad that I had it sorted out. So it's official, I'm on Hashtag, RX's Monsters Ball!

Twister Fries from Mcdo is EXTENDED!

Last first week of August, it was official, the elusive Twister Fries is back! We saw this post from the official McDonald's Philippines Facebook account.

Photo from the McDonald's Philippines Facebook
Everyone was raving about it and replacing their regular fries with them "curly ones". I even heard that people from the US were requesting for the Twister Fries to come to them.

After 3 weeks, people were begging McDonald's to extend the Twister Fries. They were heard! Just read an  email from Nuffnang.ph and confirmed it in the official FB page, that the Twister Fries is indeed EXTENDED!

Photo from the McDonald's Philippines Facebook
So get the fries now before they really are gone. Prioritize Twister Fries!

While finding something to watch on YouTube..

I was at the office today for work. It's a holiday in our country so there's really not much to be done.
While scrolling in another window, I was listening to Maroon 5 songs and stumbled upon this cover. What can I say, they sound good! ^_^ Just sharing some good singers!

Cimorelli Band - They're composed of sisters, yes sisters by blood. Cool eh?
Follow them here:

Another cover I enjoyed is from Jayesslee. Both beautiful and talented girls. They already came here in the Philippines last June but I didn't get the chance to see them live.

If you'd like to follow them, you can subscribe to their YouTube account or their official sites below :)

Vikings Buffet Restaurant, re-visited!

I really enjoyed the first time that I ate at Vikings so I decided to bring my family along :)

Viking's waiting area. They start letting the people in at around 11 AM, the ones with the reservations first of course.

Their "Viking" logo.

Their rates in case you were wondering. Oh and I think until September this year, If it's your birthday, you get to eat free as long as you have 1 paying customer with you :) Valid ID is needed of course.

They really have a really nice design. It's cozy for me.

They have several buffet tables that offers different types of cuisine. This one for example is for your appetizers.

Your salad bar.

salad bar (left) soup & breads (right)

Salmon Sashimi, yummy!

The staff that are busy to prepare and replenish the buffet tables.

Unlimited drinks. Juice, sodas, coffee and beer!

After the hearty meal, you have to save a little more space for the desserts. They have a buffet table for desserts as well.

Yummy pastries!

When I first visited Vikings, there was only 1 fountain, the chocolate fountain, I was surprised and amazed that now there are 3, chocolate, strawberry and purple yam (ube).

Blueberry anyone?

They can also make you crepes if you'd like.
