Close Up Summer Solstice Party at MOA

We were going home that time when we heard on RX 93.1 that there is a twitter promo on-going. Lucky participants will win 2 Gold tickets to Close Up's Summer Solstice Party at MOa concert grounds. After hearing that my GF urged me to join, and so I did. When it was the time to announce the winners, I was astounded and happy to see that my username was included in the lisr of winners! I quickly sent a DM to them and waited for their instructions. Wednesday last week I got the tickets! Saturday came then off to the party! Thank you Close Up for the awesome party!

If you want to travel but have a tight budget, be sure to visit The Travel Tour Expo at the SMX convention center. Be sure to be there early since the airlines have long queues and usually closes at around 7pm. They will be there until tomorrow so hurry before the all seats are taken. There are also so many tour packages that you can choose from.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Thanks Nuffnang and Wacoal!!

I was just checking my email when I saw this mail from Nuffnang! I was ecstatic that I won a free movie again from them and what made me more happier is that we get to watch it at Newport Cinemas! Haha a bit shallow if you think about it but what can I say, it's far closer to home than Shangri La.



Thanks Nuffnang for the free movie!! And popcorn.. And drinks! It was really fun :)

They also had a photobooth outside ;) Nuffnang is a really cool community to be in! :)

Free cake! - RED RIBBON

I was browsing the news feed on Facebook when I came across this picture that a friend has posted. It was from the website Spot.ph and their "10 Steals and Deals This Week".

Yes yes, you read that right. Red Ribbon is giving away a free slice of their Triple Chocolate Roll. The catch? Well it's offered only in selected branches (glad the branch near us is on the list hehe) and they start giving cakes at 17:00 or 5PM until supplies last.

I missed the RX monsterball! :(

So there I was standing outside 7th High when I asked the bouncer what time will the guest list can come in, he said around 1130pm.



We decided to go to Jamba Juice first and wait it off. Apparently that wasn't a good idea. When I got back, I heard the bouncer said that the guest lists are done. Bummer. Tried to get in, but to no avail. Damn.

To feel a bit better, we just went to Mercato and eat it off. There's the "dynamite" and Wagyu paella.

RX Monsterball tomorrow!

I have been an on and off listener of RX (since I didn't have a radio in the car for months). And I'm really fond of listening to The Morning Rush with Chico and Delamar (which later on had Gino to add), well practically the whole of RX from TMR to TMA (The Morning After with Alven).

For the past weeks, the listeners were hearing about RX's anniversary party and I think I can speak for them when I say that I really wanted to go and see my favorite DJs. I was really hoping for a shot to try to win those VIP tickets. But the chance seem to pass by.

This morning, when I was going to work, Alven of TMA announced that one of the people from the guest list backed out and another slot was open. I was like, this was my chance. Alven announced that we have to text him through 2299, the text goes "Alven your hair is so curly may name is _____ give me the tickets!". And so even I was driving, I sent a text frantically, typing my name wrong in the process. Sent another message to them with the correct name, parked my card and waited for the announcement. After 2 songs, Alven read the message and guess what? YES! I heard my mispelled name! HAHAHA But glad that I had it sorted out. So it's official, I'm on Hashtag, RX's Monsters Ball!

Nuffnang's Exclusive screening for Snow White and the Huntsman.

I wrote a blog post for Nuffnang and Skin White for a chance for their exclusive screening. And I was one of the lucky few to have won.

I was so excited since this is the first time I won something like this. So when the movie day came, I also took a photo of me with the Nuffnang's tarpaulin.

BestFoodForward - NBC Tent, BGC

I'm a bit of a suck up when it comes to bazaars of all sort. I was always present specially the Christmas bazaars. But one of my favorite bazaars are those involving food. All those best chefs and patisserie shares their showmanship and create a feast for us to enjoy. I think that's why I like going to Mercato or Soderno :) .

When I heard of the BestFoodForward bazaar, I was like searching the internet where and when will it take place.

.

It will take place this weekend (tomorrow to be exact) and the good news for me? It's very near my office! I can go there after my shift to check it out. They said that they have more participants this year than the previous one. You can view the whole list here >> Concessionaires. What's even  more better, is that they are doing this for a cause, and their chosen beneficiary is the Unang Hakbang Foundation, a foundation who is continuously working with children and less fortunate people to help them realize and discover what they can do to make their lives great and worth living.
