Missy Bon Bon, Cagayan De Oro

Just got back from a recent travel to CDO, which I really enjoyed by the way. :) So on our final day in CDO, we decided to eat dinner at the original branch of Missy Bon Bon in LimKetKai Center.

Since we're not really familiar with the place, we just took a cab from our hotel (Hotel Xentro) to LimKetKai Center. It was just a Php 55.00 cab ride, *Php40 flagdown (yes it's that close haha).

And here we are! :)

Their menu list. It's like a fast food chain where you choose your order then order it via their cashier/counter.

The difference from fast food? They have their own Gelato! :))))
So anyway, my girlfriend and I went to Missy Bon Bon to have dinner, so we stood in front of their counter for a few minutes and said our orders.

They have a really cozy place and I bet it also looks good in the morning :)
Loved the lights, although I think there were some lights missing as I really can't see the pattern in the lamps.

Lemonade (Php 60.00) and Mixed Berry (Php 58.00)
The Lemonade was mine, while the the mixed berry was for my girl. Nothing special about their drinks, but we're refreshed. Thanks :)

Danggit meal with plain rice ( Php 135.00)
I tasted my gf's Danggit meal, and the danggit was delicious. Not sure if these were from Cebu or locally made.

Full Filipino Breakfast ( Php 259.00)
I had the Full Filipino Breakfast which contains garlic rice, 2pcs tocino, tapa, an egg, bangus and atchara. It was yummy! We were already full but made sure that we had space left for the gelato.

Blueberry (left) and Sansrival (Php 90.00 eavh)
We weren't able to buy the ever famous Missy Bon Bon pastel, since we already bought pastel from Camiguin. But, I wanted to go back to CDO, so maybe until then I'll have a taste of their pastel.

Total cost of our dinner? Php 692.00 only. Not bad since it included drinks and dessert! Well for me, it's worth the price. Plus they have a really generous serving of viands, so that made it more "sulit". :)

By the way, like any other breadshops, they offer a 30% discount or a buy 1 take 1 promo when it's nearing their closing time. If you wanted to visit their store, you may see their address below. They also have a branch at Centrio, inside Bigbys.

Ebun at SM Mall of Asia

Okay so we arrived at MOA during lunch time so almost all fast food chains are full. We thought about eating at Friday's but well it's too expensive since we're 5 people in total. So we walked a bit further and decided to eat at Ebun.

Ebun is a filipino restaurant. It has a branch before in Greenbelt 3 but has transfered in MOA this year.

Okay order time. It took us a few minutes to decide on our food. We decided to eat Gatang Sitaw and Kalabasa (Squash and strimg beans in coconut milk - not sure about the translation), Lechon Sisig, Pork Sinigang, and 750g of Crispy Pata, 4 cups of plain rice and 1 garlic rice. For our drinks, I got a Pepsi Max, my sister got an Ubas shake, my bro got Rootbeer and my other sister and mom opted for house water.

Lower left, Crispy Pata, middle top, Pork Sinigang, upper right Garlic fried rice.

What can I say, all of us enjoyed the food. My mom even said that their Pork Sinigang was all natural which was good cause we were under the impression that almost every restaurant in the metro uses the instant stuff. I was surprised that their Gatang Sitaw and Kalabasa was soo delicious. And this is not biased or anything, it's that good.

Well, I think the food was awesome! we had a total bill of 2200+. But wait, haha my mom used her BDO credit card and we got a 250php discount ( get 250php worth free food or 250php discount for a min bill of 1000php).
